we were having a sharing session on friday,
jon tang reminded me of something i forgot...
"Happiness is a choice. You can be happy even in the darkest days of your life if you choose to be happy..."
and yes,
I WILL BE HAPPY!
BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY!

filming today was quite productive...
how the video will come about, i entrust it to God!

anyway, today's sunday's sermon was meaningful!
it is about remembering our first love with Christ!
(Revelations 2:1-7)

How will life be without remembering the first love?
1. service will be empty, routine
2.life feels meaningless, routine
3. edurance, faith and love becomes forced
4. doctorine becomes narrow minded

Basically, daniel shared 3 steps to reconciling/ finding back the first love again!
1. Recall (remember the first time you felt God's love)
2. Repent (change your priorities)
3. Redo

In John 21:
Jesus knew that Peter needed restoration (after denying for 3 times)
However, Jesus didnt ask Peter to win 1000 souls just to be restored,
neither did he ask Peter to set up a big church,
BUT!
He asked Peter if He loved Him...
3 times!

I question myself,
when was the first time i encountered God's love
and i realise it was when i wanted to say the salvation prayer in pri 2
and i was reminded of why i chose to be a Christian,
cause,
life without Jesus is just a horrible
life without Jesus is just a nightmare
life without Jesus is just meaningless

hence, i found my first love!
and it is when Jesus came into my life one night

when you find your first love,
you should be happy right
and Jesus is always in my heart
so i should always be happy!
even in my darkest hour!

AMEN!
