i feel joyful today
proud of myself in a sense
(not boasting my ego or something)
it is beacuse i did a right thing

so after lunch
girls wanna go church with the guys to chat and slack
i know, i have chinese tuition (EWW)
i wanted to stay but i know that my parents will not be pleased
well, i did go out a lot for the past week
at most i should stay and spend time with them on a sunday
i was about to leave but my friends asked me to stay
at first, followed them,
but was overwhelmed by guilt
i realised that the evil one can use anyone to tempt you
NO OFFENCE! (not saying my friends are evil- i love them lots)
anyway, i managed to walk away
a sudden rush of peace flowed in me
i was happy?!

i honoured my father and mother
PRAISE GOD!
and whats even more was assurance that i did the right thing through my today's devotion

John 14:15
"if you love Me, you will obey what I command"

John 14: 21
"Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show myself to Him"

John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid"

i think i am getting the hang of it!
